If you fancy somewhere a bit further afield, you could cross the border from Devon in to Cornwall.
Cornwall is a favourite destination of us all at coast 2 coast camper hire, favoured for its glorious, long, sandy beaches! The North and South Cornish coastlines are equal in beauty and both come highly recommended.
St Ives has a fantastic mix of white sandy beaches and narrow streets lined with fisherman's cottages. There is a fantastic harbour with a variety of places to eat and drink. |
Padstow is a vibrant town offering an abundance of activities. Enjoy fishing for crabs from the harbour wall, visit the museum it tells you more about the heritage of Padstow, or hire a bike and enjoy a picturesque cycle along the Camel Trail. |
Bude in North Cornwall is located very close to the Devon border. Bude offers some fantastic beaches that are perfect for rock pooling and swimming in the summer. Visit during the winter months for a spot of wave watching and to admire the dramatic coastline. |
